Basic Life Support training is three (3) hours that is specifically for Doctors, Nurses, Home Health Aides, Dental Offices, Respiratory/Physical Therapists, Certified & State Nurse Assistants, and any other healthcare workers and providers. Trains students to promptly recognize life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
 
What does this training teach?
High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
Important early use of an AED
Effective ventilations using a barrier device
Importance of teams in multi rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR
Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
 
Important Notes:
Renewal required every (two) years
Minimum of 10 must be purchase the Group rate of $50 per person.
Training is American Heart Association (AHA) approved
